Matcha powder- The EGCG in matcha helps stimulate hair follicles and promotes hair growth. It also is rich in anti-oxidants.

Olive oil- Moisturizes hair, nourishes scalp and hair and reduces frizz. Makes hair soft and manageable.

Lavender oil- Boosts hair growth, fight dandruff and makes hair shiny.


Things you need-

  • 2 tablespoons organic matcha green tea
  • 1 cup liquid castile soap
  • 1-2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Few drops lavender oil

Add matcha green tea to 1 cup castile soap and 1-2 tsp of olive oil in the mixture.

If you do not have matcha green tea powder, you can use regular green tea too. Steep green tea bags in a 1/4 cup of hot water for 25 minutes and then let it cool down. Add this to the recipe.

You can also add a few drops of essential oil like lavender or rosemary oil to add a nice fragrance.

Stir well and pour in a pump bottle or any bottle that you find easy to use.

Use this shampoo instead of using a chemical one. It is a very good herbal shampoo which will not only cleanse your hair but it will also condition them. Also, use this hair sleeping mask twice a week to speed up hair growth.
