A lot of facial scrubs are available in the market but the cheaper and effective scrub is the baking soda, the small granules in it cleans the clogged pores and buffs away the rough skin and is also gentle for all skin types. So to make your own homemade facial cleanser cum scrub try this follow tips:

BENEFITS:

Baking soda- Baking soda removes the excess oil, dead skin layer, product buildup blackheads etc.

Coconut oil- Helps moisturize dry skin and prevents post-cleansing dryness.

RECIPE FOR BAKING SODA CLEANSER:

Things you need-

  • 1/2 cup liquid castile soap
  • 4 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or jojoba oil

Directions-

COCONUT OIL

In a bowl, add castile sap and baking soda.

Add in coconut oil if you have normal to dry skin or jojoba oil if your skin is prone to acne and is combination-oily.

Stir gently and pour it in a pump bottle or nozzle bottle.

Use it in very very gentle small circular motion all over the skin an rinse off. Pat dry and follow up with a moisturizer.
