My logic was that you should be always able to detect the blush on the cheeks, otherwise there is no need to wear it. Over the years, I have noticed the fault in my idea. Though I still love my bright blushes, there are some days when you need subtle blushes to tie up the entire makeup. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Prim is one such light blush that looks lovely with heavy makeup. This 12-hour blush universally benefits all skin types for a fade-free, flawless finish in shades ranging from soft to vivid and matte to shimmer to suit a wide variety of skin tones. Amazonian clay minimizes oil in and around pores to balance skin and keep product in place while also hydrating the skin naturally to restore moisture, reducing the appearance of dry, flaky skin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My Experience: <\/strong>Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Prim comes in a very chic compact which is color-coordinated with the blush shade. Since this shade was released in holidays last year, it has a pretty floral design on the lid. The blush itself has a beautiful design imprinted on it, which further adds to the beauty of the blush. The compact is sturdy and convenient to travel with. However, there is no mirror or brush provided for application.<\/p>\n<p>Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Prim is a muted plum shade with slight pink undertones. In fact, you will notice the pink undertones only when you apply it heavily. The shade is my choice to be worn with a heavy pink lip or a dark smokey eye. The trick is to stick to cooler undertones and not mix with warm or peachy makeup. This is a perfect shade for work and for days when you do not want a strong color on your cheeks. A perfect subtle blush for all occasions.<\/p>\n<p>Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blushes are known for their amazing texture. The blushes are perfect for all skin types as they control oil on oily skin and hydrates the dry skin. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Prim is no exception. The blush has a very smooth texture and blends super easily. It goes on very even and does not cling to any dry patches. The blush has a creamy finish. You will not get any powdery fall out while applying. Looks very natural and soft on the skin.<\/p>\n<p>Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Prim has a buildable pigmentation. It will take couple of swipes to show up on medium and deeper skin tones. The only thing that disappoints me is the staying power. The blush does not last for the marketed 12 hour and starts fading away after 4-5 hours.
