"Ways

Lemon Juice

Use a lemon juice hair rinse to lighten your tresses. Pour the lemon juice in a bottle along with water and spray it on your hair. You can also dip a cotton ball in a bowl of fresh lemon juice and use it on the hair strands. Allow your hair to dry for 20-30mins and rinse off. Mix few drops of honey or oil to lemon juice or condition your hair after using lemon to avoid drying of hair.

Chamomile Tea

A herbal tea rinse for your hair is a great way to boost your natural highlights. Use chamomile for blond hair, black tea for brown or black hair. Boil a gallon of water with four tea bags, let them steep for three to five minutes in a large bowl and let it cool. Lean over the sink and pour the tea over your hair. Put a shower cap over your hair and let the tea sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing. Shampoo and condition as usual.

Cinnamon

Try a cinnamon hair mask to change hair color at home. Mix a tsp of cinnamon with enough water to make a paste. Apply your favorite conditioner thoroughly to wet hair and leave it on. Apply the cinnamon-water mixture to your strands, the conditioner will help the cinnamon blend stick better. Wrap a shower cap around your strands, then leave the mixture on for at least six hours. Rinse it off, and enjoy a lighter, brighter hair.

Salt

Salt water also helps to lighten your hair. Shampoo and condition your hair, then spray your hair with salt water and leave on for 30 minutes and then rinse off.

Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar can be used to cleanse hair. It can also clean out product buildup and exfoliate scalp. Mix 1/4 cup ACV and 1 cup water and use it to rinse your hair after shampooing and conditioning. For best results, leave it on for at least 20 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
