Instead of wrapping your gift boxes in the usual gift wrapping material, try the thick brown papers. Wrap the box as usual and tie a funky ribbon it maybe a ribbon with polka dot design. A white lace can give it a vintage feel. To add on to the attractiveness, attach a cute tag on it with lace stuck on the outer edges.

Just like cho9colate wrap, you do a box wrap. The only difference is that the box will have one side open to seal- the topmost side. Keep a fancy paper or maybe a colourful butter paper on a flat surface and keep a white paper wrapped box in the middle of paper. The box has to be wrapped in a white paper if you are using a butter paper. Simply hold all the corners in the centre and tighten it; secure it with a colourful ribbon and you are done.

If you are gifting cookies, some baked goodies or maybe a DIY scrub; you can definitely use a see-through box or a box containing a see through centre on the lid with plastic film. Also, tie it with a pretty ribbon and tag and you are done.

If you are good with art and craft, you can make 3D decorations, like a Christmas tree which is made by folding the paper the similar way you do for making a hand fan. Just stick it on the gift box with a pretty tag.

You can use chalk board paint on your gift box in order to use it as a tag. Brown paper works great as a gift wrapping paper when you have to do this as it is thick and won’t tear off once you paint it due to wetness. The wrinkled paper flattens once the paint dries.

Anything that is hand painted adds a charm. Paintings on gift boxes look lovely especially if it is according to the occasion; like you can draw a garland for Christmas, pumpkins for Halloween etc. add some glitter on the paint for that extra oomph.

If you have some old fabrics at home that have beautiful patterns on them, you can use them to wrap your gifts. If they don’t stick with a cello tape, use a lace to tie the box.

A transparent plastic wrapper with fancy hearts or maybe stars on them can make a great Christmas gift wrapping idea. If you have body butters, winter goodies or perfumes to gift, you can simply wrap it in a messy way leaving some paper free on one end and tie it using a silk ribbon.

Marble prints are quite popular and is easy to do. Just like you paint your nails marble, you can do the same with a paper. Make sure you use hard papers that won’t tear off easily in the water. Add acrylic paints drop by drop in water and move a tooth pick in between for creating different patterns. Place the paper over the pattern and take it out immediately but gently. Air dry it and use it to wrap any gifting material.
