In our everyday life, we spill a lot of things on our clothes and the area around us. Spills can develop stains that sometimes need hard core elbow grease to completely get rid of them. Stubborn stains on anything can be very annoying but with these handy stain removal techniques, you can easily say goodbye to them. Here are fool-proof ways to remove everyday food stains easily.<\/p>\n\n\n

BEET STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beet stains can leave behind dark and stubborn purple stains. To remove the stain, drench the bread in cold water and keep it over the stain. Repeat the process using new bread until all the stain comes off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JUICE STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a bowl, mix \u00bd cup dish soap with \u00bc cup white vinegar. Give it a good mix and liberally apply it over the juice stain. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then scrub it using a toothbrush. Rinse the material using cold water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BERRY STAIN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remove berry stains, scrape off the dirt first and then scrub it a bit using cold water. Apply lemon juice on it and let it sit for 2 hours. Put the clothing in washing machine. If the material cannot be put in the washing machine, scrub the area with a toothbrush and little soapy liquid. Saturate with water and keep blotting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TOMATO SAUCE STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remove tomato sauce stains, simply soak the material in concentrated vinegar or saturate the area with vinegar. Keep it for 1 hour and wash as usual using a detergent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COFFEE AND TEA STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remove stubborn coffee and tea stains, make a paste of cornstarch and white vinegar. Apply the paste liberally on the stain and let it dry. Scrape it off using a butter knife and wash it as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SOY SAUCE STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the soy sauce stain is fresh, blot it up with paper towel and if the stain is old, soak it in cold water first and then blot the area. Soak the stain in a mixture of 1 quart warm water, \u00bd teaspoon liquid detergent and 1 tablespoon white vinegar for 1 hour. Wash as usual using regular detergent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEANUT BUTTER STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remove peanut butter stains, firstly clean the excess using a wet sponge. Make a mixture of vinegar and powdered detergent and apply it on the stain. Let it sit for 1 hour and scrub it using a toothbrush. Put it in the washing machine as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHEWING GUM       <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remove stuck chewing gum, put the material in a zip lock bag and toss it in the freezer. Keep it overnight or for 4 hours and scrape off the chewing gum using butter knife. Wash the cloth as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TURMERIC STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glycerine can be used to remove stubborn turmeric stains. Saturate the stained area with glycerine and keep it for 1 hour. Soak the material in water in which detergent is added for additional 1 hour. Wash it as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BUTTER AND OIL STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remove butter, oil and other greasy stains simply soak the material in hot water for 30 minutes and scrub the area with detergent using a toothbrush. Again soak it in hot water and then wash as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MUSTARD SAUCE STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create a paste with salt, lemon juice and cold water. Apply the paste on the stain and let it dry. Scrape off using a butter knife and wash as usual using cold water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHOCOLATE STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First and foremost, put the material in freezer and then scrape off the chocolate residue using butter knife. Then, dip the material in hot water to melt the chocolate and soak only the stained area in milk. Wash as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WINE STAINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remove wine stains, simply blot it first using a tissue paper and then sprinkle baking soda on it. Keep it for 30 minutes and then pour club soda on it. The wine stain will come right off. Wash it as usual.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
