There are recipes for every drink out there on the internet, then there are the healthy versions of it! This is because we all prefer healthy stuff these days due to increasing demand for fitness and self-confidence. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade but make sure you make a healthier one!\u00a0Lemonades are easy to make and nothing beats drinking chilled lemonade in hot summers. Here are some healthy lemonade recipes you could try:<\/p>\n
COCONUT LEMONADE<\/strong><\/p>\n To make this healthy coconut lemonade, you need 1 cup coconut water, \u00bd cup coconut sugar, 1 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed and 4 cups cold water. Add coconut sugar and 1 cup coconut water to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Once boiled, remove from heat and add to a glass pitcher. Add lemon juice and remaining 4 cups water. Place in the fridge for 2-3 hours to chill and serve with ice cubes.<\/p>\n THYME LEMONADE<\/strong><\/p>\n To make this healthy thyme lemonade, you need 10 thyme sprigs, 3 cups water, \u00bc cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, \u00bd teaspoon salt and honey as per taste. In a pitcher, using a wooden spoon, mash the thyme with the lime juice. Keep it aside. Take water and add honey (quantity as per taste) and salt to it. Add lemon and thyme mixture to it and mix it well. Refrigerate for few hours before consuming.<\/p>\n HIBISCUS LEMONADE<\/strong><\/p>\n To make this tasty and healthy hibiscus lemonade, you need 3-4 dry hibiscus flowers, juice of 1 lemon, pinch of salt and 1 \u00bd cups water. Pour water in a vessel and put it on low medium flame. Add hibiscus flowers to it and let it simmer or 5-10 minutes. Put off the flame and strain the solution. Add lemon to it and the colour will change to deep cherry red. Now add a pinch of salt and honey if required to make it taste a but sweet if you wish.<\/p>\n WHEY LEMONADE<\/strong><\/p>\n To make this unusual but healthy whey lemonade, you need \u00bd cup whey (that is left out from yoghurt or cottage cheese), \u00bd cup water, honey or jaggery as per taste, juice of 1 big lemon and a pinch of salt. Pour water in a vessel and put it on low medium flame. Add honey, lemonade and a pinch of salt to it. Do not let it simmer, just warm it a bit to mix the contents thoroughly. Put off the flame and add whey to it. Mix well and refrigerate for few hours before consuming.<\/p>\n STRAWBERRY LEMONADE<\/strong><\/p>\n To make this healthy strawberry lemonade, you need 2 strawberries, 1 \u00bd cups water, juice of 1 lemon, pinch of black salt and sugar as per taste. Take 1 strawberry and mash it until a paste is formed, keep it aside. Take another strawberry and slice it, keep it aside. Put water on low flame and add sugar to it as per taste. Let the sugar dissolve and put off the flame. Add lemon juice and salt to it and mix well. Add strawberry paste and slices to it and again stir thoroughly until the paste is fully dissolved in the lemonade.
