Brushes play a very important role in application of makeup (if you wish you have a flawless makeup) and they certainly make a huge difference to your face as compared to how you look without using brushes. There are different types of brushes specific for different application and purposes. Most of us are not aware how to use different brushes and their functions. Here is a complete guide to makeup brushes:<\/p>\n

\"ALLFACE BRUSHES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

FOUNDATION BRUSH<\/p>\n

The foundation brush is used to achieve a smooth and flawless finish. Its bristles are tightly packed with a tapered tip for fluid application. This is most used makeup brush and plays a very important part in makeup application. It is used to smooth liquid or cream foundation for streak-free application. You may also pat on under-eye concealer and not just drag the brush.<\/p>\n

KABUKI BRUSH<\/p>\n

Kabuki brush is an all- rounder brush and can be used to apply powder makeup. You can use it for applying translucent\/compact powder, bronzer or blush which creates a very soft and natural finish thanks to the well packed bristles. Buff out harsh lines by swirling the brush around your face and start of the neck too.<\/p>\n

FIBRE DUO BRUSH<\/p>\n

Fibre duo brush is perfect for blending and buffing colour. It has a flat, feathery and circular head that makes blending easy. Use it to blend cream blush onto the apples of your cheeks or for a light dusting of shimmer powder to your cheek and brow bones. Can also be used for applying highlighting concealer under the eyes.<\/p>\n

FAN BRUSH<\/p>\n

This kind of brush is mostly used for applying the highlighter to cheekbones. Simply swipe the brush on highlighter and brush it in 2-3 thick strokes on the cheekbones. These brushes are also used to remove excess powder on the face, particularly after eyeshadow application.<\/p>\n

POWDER BRUSH<\/p>\n

This is the most common makeup brush and is owned by 9 out of 10 makeup lovers. This brush evenly distribute the powders thanks to its long, soft, dense and fluffy bristles. I usually just swipe the powder brush in compact powder and brush it all over my face, and I am done!<\/p>\n

BLUSH BRUSH<\/p>\n

The difference between powder brush and blush brush is that this blush brush is angled (inclined) on one side. It is dense and soft just like a powder brush. The slanted bristles make it easier to apply products perfectly to your cheekbones.<\/p>\n

LIPSTICK BRUSH<\/p>\n

Do you always complain about streaky lipstick? Well, then lipstick brush is something you need. Simply dab the bristles onto the lipstick, ensuring there is a moderate amount of product and line the lips with the brush. Take more product to fill in the rest of the lips; blot with a tissue and repeat for an intense pout an solid colour.<\/p>\n

\"ALLEYE BRUSHES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

ANGLED SHADOW BRUSH<\/p>\n

Angled shadow brushes can be used to create a perfect winged eye look. You may even use this brush wet and layering the colour this way gives the most intense pay-off. This kind of brush has stiff angled bristles that provide precise application.<\/p>\n

EYE DEFINING BRUSH<\/p>\n

These brushes are soft and fluffy and can be used to create soft eye look. You may use dark colours with ease as the brush would prevent the colour from getting intense by blending everything well. To use, take a small amount of colour on the tip of the brush, buff in small circular motions to define the outer corner of the eyelid and the crease.<\/p>\n

LASH\/BROW\/COMB BRUSH<\/p>\n

This kind of brush has a comb on one side and a brush on the other. The brush side has thick and stiff bristles that shapes and grooms eyebrow hair into place, creating a volumized and bushy effect. The comb can be used to shape the brows before using eyebrow pencils and can also be used to remove excess mascara from lashes.<\/p>\n

BLENDING BRUSH<\/p>\n

Blending brush has soft bristles but is not fluffy like powder brushes. They are compact as it has to be used for the eyes. The bristles diffuse eyeshadow creating a well-blended soft look. This brush can also be used to apply highlighter on the brow bone.<\/p>\n

SMUDGER BRUSH<\/p>\n

Love smokey eye look? This brush is a must have in your vanity. The brush has stiff and not-very-long compact bristles that help to smudge the eye-shadow or kohl to create a perfect smokey eye look.<\/p>\n

SLANTED LINER BRUSH<\/p>\n

Slanted liner brush has finely pointed and angled brush head that lets you easily apply a precise and fine line with ease. They have firm bristles that allow for an easier and perfect application.
