Underarm sweating is a common problem. Sweating is our body\u2019s natural way of excreting toxins and maintaining body temperature, but it can cause a problem if your sweat stinks more than it should! Occasional, mild body odour is normal, but excessive or unpleasant body odour can be a source of great discomfort for others and very embarrassing for you. Here are some remedies for smelly sweat problems:<\/p>\n
LEMON JUICE<\/strong><\/p>\n Cut one fresh lemon into two halves and rub one half of the lemon on your arm pits. Make sure the juice gets onto your skin, rub it until the lemon gets mushy and allow it to dry on its own. You may now take your shower or leave it overnight. You may also add lemon juice to your shower gel if you have sweaty back.<\/p>\n APPLE CIDER VINEGAR<\/strong><\/p>\n Add one cup of apple cider vinegar to lukewarm bath water and soak in this water for 10 minutes once daily. If you do not have a bath tub, you may just saturate a cotton ball with apple cider vinegar and apply it on your arm pits and areas where you sweat a lot. Wash off with water or have a bath.<\/p>\n BAKING SODA+ LEMON JUICE<\/strong><\/p>\n Combining baking soda and lemon juice can be a fantastic remedy for smelly sweat problems. You need juice of 1 lemon and baking soda (as per requirement). Take the lemon juice in a bowl, add baking soda to it until it forms a spreadable paste. It might foam initially but it will eventually stop. Before bath, apply this on your arm pits and keep it for 15 minutes. Wash it off with little scrubbing and have bath.<\/p>\n TEA TREE OIL<\/strong><\/p>\n Tea tree is an antibacterial herb and tea tree oil derived from this herb is a natural antiseptic. It also has strong herbal smell that eliminates sweat odour. To use this, you need 2 drops tea tree oil and 2 tablespoons water. Mix the 2 ingredients and apply on your arm pits like a deodorant. You can make a batch and store it in spray bottle and use as and when required.<\/p>\n WITCH HAZEL<\/strong><\/p>\n Witch hazel is a natural anti-septic and can be used to eliminate body odour associated with sweat and bacterial growth causing foul smell. Directly applying witch hazel on your skin can serve as a regular deodorant. If you sweat frequently and is causing bad odour, you may wipe your skin\/arm pits at least 3-4 times a day.<\/p>\n SAGE<\/strong><\/p>\n It is an antibacterial herb which can prevent bacteria from thriving on your skin, and it reduces sweating. Sage herb can be used topically as well as internally foe reducing sweat and odour. Mix some sage oil with olive oil, apply it to your underarms to reduce underarm smell. You may also use sage herb as a body wash by mixing it with water but always wash your hands after using sage herb.
