They say that cumin (jeera) works as the medicine, spice and food which are used in many home remedies.<\/p>\n Cumin\u2019s flavour makes it a favourite for many, but its health supporting properties are impressive too! Here are the top benefits and remedies using cumin seeds:<\/p>\n Cumin Tea:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0A warming and soothing cumin tea can be prepared by boiling cumin seeds in water and allowing it to steep for 8 to 10 minutes.<\/p>\n CUMIN SEED REMEDIES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n BLOATING –\u00a0<\/strong>Abdominal bloating makes the stomach feel full and tight due to gas buildup in the small intestine. This can lead to stomach pain and abdominal discomfort.<\/p>\n Remedy:<\/u> Bring 1 cup of water to boil. Add 1 pinch each of ground cumin, ginger powder and sea salt along with \u00bd teaspoon of fennel seeds. Simmer for 5 minutes. Strain, allow it to cool and drink it.
