I purchased quite a few from TBS when they had a 50% sale sometime back. Today, I will be reviewing The Body Shop Brazil Nut Body Butter. Read on to know whether you need to get it this winter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Product claims: \u00a0<\/strong>Our iconic Body Butter, in a sweet and nutty scent. The precious secret inside is skin-nourishing Community Fair Trade Brazil nut oil. The tub is chocolate brown in color with images of brazil nut on the top. It is bulky to be carried around, so I transfer some to a smaller container for travelling. I wish TBS comes up with travel sized versions of body butters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Texture and fragrance:\u00a0<\/strong>It has a thick, whipped cream texture with an off-white color. The fragrance is nutty and slightly bitter. It is not as strong or overpowering as the Cocoa body butter. But, if you are more into floral or fruity fragrances, you can skip this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My experience:\u00a0<\/strong>The Brazil Nut body butter is very thick than other variants and slightly difficult to spread. So, I use it right after shower when my skin is damp. It moisturizes and hydrates my extra dry skin beautifully. My skin feels soft and smooth afterwards. The moisturizing effect stays throughout the day, almost 24 hours. Also, I work in an A\/C room all day and most moisturisers dries out in the coldness. But, this withstands even that. The body butter is meant for dry skin which is why I got it. And it fulfills the claim excellently. I also apply on my foot every night and it keeps them soft and heals cracks. But I don&#8217;t think it is suitable for summers as it will make skin sweaty and greasy. The quantity is good and will last easily for 2-3 months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pros:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Very good moisturization and hydration for extra dry skin in winters.<\/li>\n<li>Makes skin smooth and soft.<\/li>\n<li>Moisturizing effect stays all day. No need to reapply.<\/li>\n<li>Warm, nutty fragrance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cons:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not suitable for summers and hot, humid climates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Price and quantity:<\/strong> Rs.1095 for 200ml.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: <\/strong>4.5\/5<\/p>\n<p><strong>Verdict:<\/strong> If you are facing dry and flaky skin issues this winter, then definitely give this a try. It provides deep moisturization and hydration and will make your skin smooth and soft. The light, warm and nutty aroma makes it an ideal product for winters.
