Baking Soda:<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is easily available in any general store and is very cheap. Take a tablespoon of baking powder in a glass bowl. Add few drops of water to it and make a paste out of it. Apply on the affected areas. Use a sponge or cloth to remove the marks form the plates. Rub it hard till the mark vanishes. This remedy is effective only on scuff and marks. If your plates are over scratched, baking soda will be less effective<\/p>\n

Cream of Tartar:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cream of Tartar has also proven effective to remove the scratches from the plate. Cream of Tartar is the by-product of winemaking process Take Cream of Tartar in a bowl. Apply it on the scratched plate and leave it. Take a sponge and rub it off. Rub till the scratches are completely gone. You can also use your fingers to rub it.. Hold the plate tightly as there are chances of it getting slipped. Start rubbing the corners of the plate, move it to the mid part and then to the end. Rub for next 10 minutes and the satins are sure to leave your plates.<\/p>\n

Bar Keeper\u2019s friend:<\/strong><\/p>\n

If the plates are over scuffed and has lots of stains & scratches, Bar Keeper\u2019s friend can be an ideal choice. It has oxalic acid as its property which works wonders on the stains. This is one major reason for using Bar Keeper\u2019s friend in laundries. It is effective in removing rust and ink stains. It has the property of converting insoluble compounds to soluble compounds which makes it easy to remove the scratches from the plate. The iron compounds easily gets converted into soluble form and works on stains. You can use Bar Keeper\u2019s friend on everyday basis. It can be used to deal with fine china plates and other regular plates. You can go for a test cleaning process. Apply Bar Keeper\u2019s friend at the back of the plate to check the effectiveness. ensure that your goods aren\u2019t harmed. ONe cannot afford to lose the loved dinner set or crockery items.<\/p>\n
