Many of us face a variety of scalp issues. Oily, sweaty scalp, itchy scalp, flaky and dandruff prone, all of them indicate an underlying problem which needs to be treated.<\/p>\n<p>Also, using chemical and styling products may lead to product buildup in the scalp which needs to be cleansed regularly. In this post, I will give you a simple scalp purifying treatment that you can do at home easily to treat all these scalp issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/theindianspot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/f30.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload size-full wp-image-16100 aligncenter\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 450 450'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"http:\/\/theindianspot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/f30.jpg\" alt=\"DIY SCALP PURIFYING TREATMENT\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Things needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salt \u2013 2 tablespoon<\/li>\n<li>Neem powder \u2013 2 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Lemon juice \u2013 1 tablespoon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mix the salt and neem powder together in the given measurement. If you don&#8217;t have neem powder, you can also use fresh neem paste. But since its very concentrated, restrict it to two teaspoon.<\/li>\n<li>Pour fresh lemon juice into the mixture.<\/li>\n<li>You can store this in a container in refrigerator for a week.<\/li>\n<li>If you have any empty hair oil bottles which comes with a scalp applicator, you can pour the mix into that. I have an empty bottle of Dr.Batra&#8217;s hair serum which comes with a scalp applicator. I find it more convenient to apply this treatment using that.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is better to do this treatment when you haven&#8217;t applied any oil on scalp.<\/li>\n<li>Part your hair into sections. Dip a cotton into the mix and apply directly on the scalp. If you have a scalp applicator, you can use that instead.<\/li>\n<li>Start from the front, first complete one side by partitioning to many sections, then move on to the other side and follow the same.<\/li>\n<li>Leave on for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Wrap a hot towel around your head for more effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Wash off with a mild shampoo and follow up with conditioner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your scalp will feel clean and healthy after this treatment.
