But I keep trying various homemade recipes on weekends to give my skin a break from chemical-loaded products. This time I tried making a simple yet very effective scrub using walnuts. There are many walnut scrubs available in the market, so I thought why not make my own scrub using them. I quickly grabbed the ingredients and made the scrub within 10 minutes. I am so pleased with the results that I\u2019ve grinded more walnuts so that I can make the scrub easily whenever I want to. Okay, so here is the recipe of \u201c<strong><em>DIY Walnut Scrub<\/em><\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/theindianspot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/B7031.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload  size-full wp-image-13371 aligncenter\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 450 450'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"http:\/\/theindianspot.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/B7031.jpg\" alt=\"GENTLE EXFOLIATING DIY WALNUT SCRUB\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\"><\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 walnuts<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp milk cream<\/li>\n<li>1 drop tea tree oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Method<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pound the walnuts in a processor and make a smooth paste. You can also use more walnut if you\u2019re planning to use it as body scrub.<\/li>\n<li>Put this walnut paste in a bowl and also add take one tablespoon of milk cream into it.<\/li>\n<li>Also add 1-2 drops of tea tree oil into the mixture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mix everything gently and tada you\u2019re done with your DIY Walnut scrub. Easy right?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>How to Use<\/em><\/strong>: Always damp your skin before applying scrub. Take a small amount on your finger and apply it all over your face and neck. Massage gently in circular motion and don\u2019t rub your skin too hard. Scruib for around 1-2 minutes, you can scrub your forehead and chin for a little bit longer for better results. Rinse off and apply toner to close your pores.
