Kama Ayurveda really makes some good products which are luxurious as well. so today I am going to share my experience with Kama Ayurveda lavender patchouli body cleanser.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Kama claims-<\/strong> A wonderful shower gels with pure essential oils of Lavender, Patchouli and herbal extracts. Lavender relaxes the body and patchouli cleanses and purifies. As it doesn\u2019t come with a stopper at the neck of the bottle the packaging is not travel friendly and the product tends to leak from the bottle when kept in lying position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Color, texture &amp; smell of the body cleanser<\/strong>&#8211; The body cleanser has a very faint greenish color. It has a typical lavender and patchouli like smell which doesn\u2019t linger once you rinse it off from your body. But I enjoy the smell during the application. Some may not like the smell but I love it. The texture is gel like but it is quite runny so tends to leak from the bottle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performance<\/strong>&#8211; It does contain sodium laureth sulphate!!! That is SLS! It costs twice than body shop shower gels and thrice in case of drugstore brands. But it is not free from chemicals. It doesn\u2019t lather much yet cleanses the skin well. it doesn\u2019t leave soapy residue and keeps the skin soft and supple.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pros-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I love the rich smell<\/li>\n<li>Cleanses skin really well<\/li>\n<li>Doesn\u2019t strip off the moisturiser<\/li>\n<li>Makes skin smooth and supple<\/li>\n<li>Doesn\u2019t leave greasy feeling<\/li>\n<li>Less amount is required for every usage<\/li>\n<li>Suitable for all types of skins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cons-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pricey and not worth the money you pay<\/li>\n<li>Ayurvedic body cleanser which contains SLS!!!<\/li>\n<li>Packaging is not travel friendly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>RBS Rating- 3.8\/5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Price- 215 INR for 50 ml<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Recommendation- <\/strong>I enjoy using this but I don\u2019t recommend it as though it is a good body cleanser it is not worth the money you pay. After all it contains SLS which is not tolerable with the price tag it comes!
