Rather, keep it in a bowl for the next step.<\/li>\n<li>Pour it into a cup or any other container. This first milk extracted from coconut flesh is rich and bright and is known as \u2018thick coconut milk\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Step 2: Preparation of Thin Coconut Milk<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Put the coconut shreds obtained from the previous step in the mixer grinder once more.<\/li>\n<li>Pour rest of the water into it.<\/li>\n<li>Grind again for a couple of minutes and prepare another smooth mixture of runny consistency.<\/li>\n<li>Strain it just like the way you did it previously.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the extract into another cup or container and here is your \u2018thin coconut milk\u2019 absolutely ready to use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Tips:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grated coconut can be replaced with small coconut pieces or bits.
