It is important to follow a good night-time skin care routine t maintain the health of your skin. With age, skin tends to get dull and lifeless. Other factors that can take a toll on your skin and cause acne and other skin problems are stress, pollution, lack of sunscreen and lack of good skin care. Turmeric is a well-known skin benefiter and works great when used inform of a sleeping mask. Below is a recipe:
Aloe vera gel- Aloe vera gel hydrates skin, sanitizes it, unclogs pores, prevents and heal acne. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that reduces any skin inflammation.
Turmeric- Turmeric has anti-inflammatory , anti-microbial and skin brightening properties. It makes skin brighter, adds a healthy glow and keeps it clear.
Things you need-
- 2 tablespoon aloe gel
- A pinch of turmeric
- Essential oils of your choice
In a bowl, add aloe gel and turmeric. Store bought aloe gel works the best in this recipe. Add in essential oils and mix well until well-combined. The mixture should get fluffy and turbid as you mix, just what you want. Store the mask in a jar and use it before bedtime.
Apply a thin layer over your facial skin and wash off the next morning using a homemade ACTIVATED CHARCOAL FACE WASH.
**Caution: Never use essential oils directly on the skin, always use them diluted. Patch test before using. If you are fair skinned and want to avoid staining, use kasturi turmeric or turmeric essential oil instead of turmeric powder.
