THE EASIEST WAYS TO COVER UP BREAKOUTS

Pimples can always be a disaster especially when you have an outing and want your face to look clear! There are a lot of remedies out there that can heal your pimples, but the results can never be instant! What if you have an important date and you wished you never had that pimple on your cheek? Hiding can be the solution! Here are some easiest ways to cover up your breakouts:

THE EASIEST WAYS TO COVER UP BREAKOUTSCOLOUR CORRECTING CONCEALERS

Colour correcting concealers are coloured concealers that neutralize specific colours on face. A green concealer like this will reduce redness and neutralize it. This fades the redness and after using a skin coloured concealer and foundation your breakouts will be totally hidden!

FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION

Try using a yellow toned full coverage foundation as opposed to anything pink or red; it will help neutralize the redness. If you have pink toned skin colour and usually use foundations with pink undertones, you may apply yellow toned full coverage foundation in patches on the breakouts and then layer it up with your usual foundation. Remember, you’re aiming to look natural and neutral, and too thick an application of foundation might cast shadows around the acne that will only draw attention to it.

COLD WASHCLOTH TRICK

Application of cold washcloth or ice on the red pimple can reduce its redness and also decrease its size instantly. When you do this before your makeup (or before the above 2 steps), you can totally hide your breakouts- not only the redness but also the actual pimple will get tiny and less prominent. Simply dip washcloth in chilled water, wring out most of the water and place it on your pimple or face (in case you have severe acne all over the face). Hold it that way for 5-10 minutes and then follow your makeup routine. You may dip the washcloth in chilled water several times in between.  If you have mild acne, you may directly hold ice on the face.

USE MATTE FOUNDATION

Using oily foundations can make your acne look shiny and prominent. Matte products make them less prominent. Always use matte foundations, and if you like dewy finish, you can use highlighters on cheekbones for that dewy effect.

KEEP YOUR FACE MATTE EVEN AFTER APPLICATION OF MATTE PRODUCTS

Keeping your face shine-free and matte is essential to make your breakouts less prominent and keep hidden. Always finish your makeup with shine controlling compact powder and a matte makeup finishing spray. Also always carry a face blotting paper in the hand bag so that your T-zone can be blotted as and when needed and also your cheeks where breakouts usually happen.
