Tanning is the most common and worst thing in summer. Basically, tanning is skin darkening due to the harmful effects of sun. Summer has just begun and we know most of you are already tanned. We can’t avoid the sun because of daily traveling and that is why tanning is not very surprising.

Papaya and Honey Mask:
Take half cup ripe papaya pulp and mash it well to make a smooth paste. After mashing, add a table spoon of honey in it and mix it well. Apply this mixture on face and keep for at least 25 minutes. Once the mask is dried, rinse it off using plain water.
Effects: Papaya is known for its skin whitening and exfoliating properties. So, using a papaya mask helps in easy tan removal. I have also seen many parlor ladies using papaya mask as tan-removal. Combined with honey, this face pack works really well for tanning and pigmentation.
Lemon juice and sugar scrub:
Lemon juice is known as bleaching agent so the best way to remove tan is by using lemon juice. All you need is one tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 tbsp glycerine and half tbsp sugar. Mix all three ingredients well and apply this on affected areas. You can just apply the mixture and keep for 15 minutes. You can also use this mask as a scrub as it contains sugar granules. After scrubbing for 10 minutes, wash off with plain water.
Effects: Use this scrub regularly for at least one week and you will see the results. This will not only remove tan but it will also even out your skin tone. The scrub vwill keep your skin moisturized and hydrated because of the glycerin present in it.
