Just like sugar, salt can also be used to exfoliate the skin. Dead sea salt is great for skin conditions like acne, oily skin and also to treat dull or rough skin.
Sea Salt has relaxing and soothing properties that will not only exfoliate the skin but also increase circulation. Sea salt scrub can be used on face as well as a body scrub to keep your skin soft and smooth.
Sea salt scrub for oily Skin:
Use 1 cup of salt with fine granules, drizzle lemon juice and honey. Mix it all together to make an excellent body scrub that will keep your skin soft, smooth and glowing.
Sea salt Scrub for dry skin:
Mix 1 cup salt, coconut oil and few drops of essential oil ( optional) to make a scrub. Store the scrub in a jar and use it while in shower to rejuvenate your skin and give it a spa like treatment at home. You can also make a few of these to give as a gift to your loved ones.
Sea salt Scrub for hair:
Salt helps loosen and remove existing flakes while stimulating circulation for a healthy scalp. The ingredient also absorbs excess oil and moisture to prevent and get rid of dandruff. Exfoliating your scalp using salt will remove dry flakes and will also absorb oil so that dandruff doesn’t stick to it again. Be gentle while scrubbing your scalp. Massage a small amount of hair oil before or after using salt as it can dry up your hair.
This DIY sea salt spray is not only super easy to make, but will leave you with soft & beautiful beach hair.
