Face Scrub:

Salt is a very good exfoliator so making a DIY scrub is the first thing you can do with it. Take around one tablespoon of almond oil and add half tbsp. of salt in it. Mix both well and scrub your entire face with it, you can also use it for your face. For additional benefits, you can try using few drops of essential oils like tea tree oil, argan oil etc.

Beach waves:

Want sexy beachy waves without spending money on hair-sprays? Oh yes, you can easily make your own DIY hair spray.  For added benefits you can also add few drops of essential oil like ylang ylang oil or argan oil.

Face Steamer:

You should steam your face once a month to deep clean pores and to get rid of breakouts. You can create your own face steamer using water and salt. Take a saucepan and fill it with water and add 2-3 tbsp. of salt into it. Let the water heat. Now sit in a relaxing position and hold your face above the saucepan at a comfortable distance. Let this water give steam to your face for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

Face toner:

If you’re battling with acne-prone skin and no toner in the market suits your skin type then why don’t you try your own DIY-face-toner? It’s very simple, effective and really quick. Shake the spray bottle well until the salt completely disappear and let the water cool down. Apply the toner all over your face using a cotton pad. Use this toner within a week and you’ll notice the difference soon.

It’s very embarrassing when dandruff shed on clothes when you’re in public. Well salt can help you out and you won’t face that embarrassment again. Exfoliating your scalp using salt will remove dry flakes and will also absorb oil so that dandruff doesn’t stick to it again. Sprinkle a generous amount of salt all over your scalp and then using wet fingers massage your scalp for 10 minutes. Shampoo as usual.

Toothpaste:

Salty can be used for making all natural DIY toothpaste. Take a bowl add one tbsp. of baking soda and half tbsp. of sea salt in it. Add two drops of peppermint or nay citrus essential oil. Also add distilled water to make a smooth consistency. Put this paste on your toothbrush and brush them in usual way.
