Clothes that we wear do a lot of talking for us. Our personality is in a lot of way influenced by the clothes we wear. Now this does not mean just pick up any fashionable clothes, wear it and you are done. Your clothes need to be spotless clean to get you the best impression about you. Clean clothing could literally mean that you are a person seeking cleanliness and this will attract most people. Be it at interviews or in office, clean outfit can easily earn you brownie points, however it is not always possible to protect your clothes from dirt and grime from the surroundings, right?

Remove Oil stains on clothes:

If you are someone who works in the kitchen then oil stain is something that you cannot always avoid. The thing that can come to your rescue here is dish wash soap. Rub dish wash soap on the oil stain on the damp cloth and allow it to sit for some time. Then take the cloth and wash it and dry it well. You will be surprised to see that the stains have vanished completely.

To remove oil stains, you can use another simple method with the help of a chalk. Take a piece of ordinary white chalk and rub it over the stain. Leave it for a few minutes. You will observe the outline of the stain in the chalk.

Wash it off normally, the stain goes off completely. If not, repeat the process.

Remove stains from your fabric:
Removing Grease Stains from Fabric is also not that difficult. You will need Salt, baking soda, cornstarch or talcum powder. Hot water to soak the stain is also required. First take a soft brush, an old toothbrush would also do. Mix all the above mentioned ingredients and apply it on the grease stain and let it sit for some time. Take some dish washing liquid and put some on top of the stain too. Take the brush and rub it on the stain gently. The grease will be removed completely with this method.

Get rid of food stains from your fabric:-

Ingredients required:-

  • Liquid detergent
  • Baking soda
  • Warm water

Method: –

  1. Take the fabric and wet it with some warm water. Now apply the liquid detergent on it and leave it for 5 minutes.
  2. You can also use Baking soda if the food stain is dried. First soak the fabric in warm water with liquid detergent in it. Make sure your fabric can be soaked in hot water. Some delicate fabrics are not meant to be put in hot water.
  3. Sprinkle some baking soda on the stain and rub it until the stain goes off completely.
  4. You can also rub a lemon slice with salt on tougher stains.
