Licorice is a well-known skin lightening natural ingredient and is used in so many beauty products these days. Popularly used in many homemade face mask recipes, licorice powder can also be used to make licorice oil and can effectively be used for both skin and hair.

RECIPE FOR LICORICE OIL:
Things you need-
- 1/2 cup almond oil
- 3 tablespoons pure licorice root powder
Directions-
ALMOND OIL LICORICE POWDER
In a jar, add almond oil and add in licorice root powder.
Stir and secure it with an air-tight lid. Place it in the dark for around 2 weeks and shake occasionally.
Strain and store in an amber bottle.
WAYS TO USE:
Skin care- Use it as a facial oil, add in homemade face masks or your regular face moisturizer, use it to soften and lighten knuckles, elbows, cuticles etc.
Hair care- Use it as a scalp and hair serum by roughly applying it on scalp and hair as an overnight treatment. Add few drops in shampoo or in your regular hair oil, in hair masks etc.
