INNISFREE CAPSULE RECIPE PACKS REVIEW

I wanted to try the Innisfree capsule recipe packs since long. When I visited the Innisfree store, I got hold of their capsule recipe pack collection. They are available individually and in a pack of 5 collection box. You get this box only if you shop somewhere above INR 3000 to 4000 I guess, not sure though. I got 2 massage packs, 2 sleeping packs and 1 usual face pack. Here is a review on it:

r719MY TAKE ON INNISFREE CAPSULE RECIPE PACKS

Packaging: The masks come in pretty looking tiny plastic jars with plastic covers that can be sealed back. I got these packs in a pretty box. The capsules are travel friendly and you can definitely carry them on trips.

JEJU VOLCANIC CAPSULE RECIPE PACK: The pack is quite thick and feels, looks and smells like bentonite clay paste. Even if the mask is thick, it spreads easily. After 15-20 minutes I washed it off and skin felt tighter and smooth. It also dried the tiny bumps I had on my face.

GREEN TEA CAPSULE RECIPE MASSAGE PACK: This pack is milky white in colour and smells like green tea. It has a gel like consistency and spreads easily on face. You have to massage this, keep it for 15 minutes and then wash off. It does not dry and remains wet on the face. I massaged it even after 15 minutes while washing it off. Skin felt soft, supple and clean.

r720CANOLA HONEY CAPSULE RECIPE MASSAGE PACK: This pack is transparent with yellow tinge and has a gel-like consistency- similar to honey. The pack not only looks like honey but also smells like one. I massaged it on my face for 2-3 minutes, let it be for 15 minutes and washed it off with massaging moments. I have observed that when I keep this mask for longer than 15 minutes it starts flowing off my face and drips! This mask made my skin extremely soft to touch and it remained that way for 2 days. Not only did it make my skin soft but also added a healthy glow to my face.

RICE CAPSULE RECIPE SLEEPING PACK: This pack is in a thick gel form and is white in colour. It smells like rice water. You have to apply it on face before bedtime and wash it off in the morning. The mask feels a bit sticky and does not dry completely, so be careful while sleeping. I applied a generous amount before bedtime and washed it off in the morning. Skin felt very soft, smooth and brightened.

BIJA AND ALOE CAPSULE RECIPE SLEEPING PACK: This pack is completely transparent and has gel like consistency which is not thick. It smells like aloe and also has mild leaf-like smell, must be bija. I applied it on my face, massaged for sometime but it did not get absorbed in the skin, remained semi-wet. I went to sleep and washed it off the next morning. Skin felt a lot clear and less oily for 2-3 days. Skin felt soft and supple as well.

The masks are supposed to be sufficient for 2 to 3 uses but I have already used the masks 3-4 times and I think I can still use them 4 times atleast; because you need little quantity of these everytime you use.

PROS:

  • Travel friendly
  • A lot of options to choose from depending on skin types and concerns
  • All the masks work like charm
  • Inexpensive, I mean INR 170-200 for 5-6 uses!
  • Can be sealed back an stored

CONS:

  • The sleeping masks remains semi-wet which can be a bit uncomfortable

PRICE: INR 170 to 200 per capsule
