Adding a pinch of red chilli to the water is an age old ayurvedic practice. Add cayenne pepper powder to your regular drinking water is a great way to kick-start your mornings. It is also known for regulating metabolism and aiding weight loss. To make this, add ¼ teaspoon of cayenne to 2 cups of water and drink it in the morning.

Mint can add a kick of freshness to the water while orange will make the water slightly sweet along with a zesty taste. To make this, add 5-6 mint leaves and 2-3 orange slices slightly poke with tooth pick in 2 cups water. Let it infuse for few hours and then drink.

Watermelon already is abundant in water, minerals and essential nutrients that keep the body hydrated. To make watermelon water, juice up ¼ cup of watermelon and add it to 2 cups of water. You may also add tiny pieces of watermelon to the water for a bite of sweet crunch in the water.

To make cucumber water, you need 3-4 slices of cucumber and 2 cups water. Cucumber adds on detoxing property to the water and also makes it taste fresh. Add the cucumber slices to the water and let it infuse for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.

You may also add a dash of your favourite fruits to the water and make it fruit-flavoured water.
