Green tea lemonade is very easy to make at home due to its simple recipe. Secondly the hot season prompts us to drink something cold and here it is.
Green tea has many health benefits. Like green tea, lemon is also rich in antioxidants. It consists of ascorbic acid which helps in detoxing the body. It slows down the symptoms of arthritis and improves immunity. Lemon also increases ones energy levels.
When green tea is combined with lemon juice, it makes the antioxidants in green tea work better so that the body absorbs them well. Body extracts catechins from the green tea and lemon helps the body to do so by 6 times better way. The ta compounds actually inhibits the absorption of food but in this recipe lemon prevents that to happen. Drink it regularly as many times as you can to get best of it. - 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
- 2 cups filtered water
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Pinch salt
- Sweetener as per taste
- In a mason jar, add water and lemon juice.
- Add in matcha green tea powder and salt.
- Add in a sweetener of your choice and stir until it is well dissolved.
- Your green tea lemonade is ready!
