We develop pigmentation spots, fine lines and what not as we age. Pigmentation basically is a condition where dark patches appear on the skin due to over-production of melanin. Pigmentation can be triggered by sun damage, pollution, lack of skin care and using chemical products. Ayurveda can help lighten and reverse the pigmentation on skin and one such effective ingredient is ginger. Below is how you could use ginger to fight pigmentation:
- Ginger balances the melanin production and also evens out skin tone.
- The anti-aging nature of ginger enables it to combat pigmentation by preventing and easing the condition.
- Regularly using ginger for skin keeps it plump healthy, moist and free of any dark spots and marks.
- Ginger also has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that helps keep skin clear and healthy.
