This is the last product I am reviewing from my Forest Essentials haul and today I would review and share my experience with silkening shower wash in the variant Indian rose absolute. Till now they suited me quite well and I am really happy after investing on these. So let’s check this shower wash is also worth the high price or not.
Packaging- Forest Essentials packaging are classy looking and this one is not an exception. The blue label on the transparent plastic bottle and especially the glossy golden cap make it look premium. The screw open golden cap is really very tight making the bottle travel friendly.
Texture, smell & color– This silkening shower wash doesn’t contain any added colorant so it doesn’t have any significant color. It just looks like some raw liquid silk is packed in a bottle. It smells divine! Really the smell is mind blowing and would give you a pure indulgence. Though the smell doesn’t linger after rinsing. It has got a not so runny as well as not so thick texture. But the texture is really very soft and silky to touch.
Performance– This silkening body wash cleanses the skin thoroughly yet gently leaving it soft and supple. This is better than Kama Ayurveda lavender patchouli body cleanser which I have reviewed earlier. It doesn’t strip moisture from my skin and also makes it smooth. It definitely doesn’t lather much as it is a pure organic product and free from harmful chemicals. I don’t use it with loofah as I love to use it with hand to feel the exact silky sensation.
- Classy and travel friendly packaging
- Soft silky texture
- Cleanses skin well
- Doesn’t strip off the moisture from the skin
- Suitable for dry skin too
- Makes skin supple and smooth
- Smells divine
- From my side, nothing! Because I know it is an expensive product and it can’t be a con as I think this is totally worth the money.
TIS Rating- 5/5
Price- 775 INR for 200 ml
Recommendation- yes! I recommend it to everyone who are in search of a luxurious yet effective shower wash. I am really impressed using this and I can sue it throughout the year as it is not at all drying. At least my dry skin loves it!
