DIY: Oil Shampoo for shiny, soft hair

Oil based shampoos are hitting the market and they certainly work well. These are nothing but regular shampoo formulations that have hair and scalp nourishing oils as an ingredient. You can easily make your own oil shampoo at home too and below is a recipe:

Things you need-

  • A container
  • Hair oil – extra virgin coconut oil or olive oil
  • your favorite shampoo

Directions- 

DIY: Oil Shampoo for shiny, soft hairTake a container,  Fill 3/4 of the container with shampoo. Fill about 1/4 of the bottle with oil.You can chose from this list of 5 best natural oils that help to speed up hair growth.

Don’t fill the bottle entirely leave enough space at the top you don’t want to overflow the bottle. Close the lid of the bottle securely, the oil is now at the top so don’t worry, when your going to wash your hair shake the bottle gently or turn it upside down till the oil mixes well with the shampoo and then use it.
