Clogged and inflamed pore are the culprits behind active and pus-filled acne. Acne can also be hormonal. If you get frequent acne on the chin and mouth area, you probably have clogged pores. Also, if you have enlarged pores, it is a sign that they are clogged. It is important to keep your pores unclogged and cleansed and it is possible with this DIY face mask, recipe below:
Turmeric- Turmeric has great skin purifying and detoxing properties. It also has great ant—microbial properties that keeps acne at bay.
Cinnamon- Cinnamon has skin detoxing and pore unclogging properties. It also adds a healthy glow and makes skin plump.
Rose water- Rose water helps tone down skin irritation and inflammation. It also keeps skin shine-free and glowing.
Lemon- Lemon has great astringent properties that tightens pores and cleanses it. It also has skin lightening properties.
Things you need-
- 1 teaspoon organic turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon organic true cinnamon powder
- 2 teaspoon pure rose water
- 1 teaspoon organic lemon juice
In a bowl, add turmeric powder and cinnamon powder. Add in lemon juice and rose water.
Mix it well and apply on cleansed skin. Let it stay for 15 minutes and wash off.
Note: Patch test before using. Do not use cinnamon if you have sensitive skin.
