DIY Yogurt and lemon Mask for De-Stressing Skin

DIY De-Stressing Honey and Yogurt Mask Recipe

(a) Ingredients Required:

  • Raw honey – 1 tablespoon
  • Plain yogurt – 2 tablespoons

(b) Method of Preparation:

  1. Take plain yogurt in a small bowl.
  2. Add pure, raw honey to it.
  3. Mix both ingredients nicely with a spoon. It should form a silky smooth paste of medium consistency.
  4. If you find the mixture to be very runny, add some more honey to it.
  5. In case the paste feels considerably thick and sticky, increase the amount of yogurt slightly.

(c) Method of Application:

  • A clean face is a must for the application of this mask. So, cleanse your face properly with your favorite gentle cleanser and rinse with plain water.
  • Pat it dry with a soft piece of cloth.
  • Now, apply the honey-yogurt paste all over your facial skin like a mask. It should be a little thick yet evenly applied. Do not forget to skip the area around your eyes and lips during application.
  • Allow it to set for next 15 minutes. Make sure that it doesn’t dry out completely. A semi-dry condition is absolutely good to go.
  • Wash off the mask very gently by using lukewarm water.
  • Splash fresh cold water to the skin for a final wash.
  • Pat dry and feel the difference.
  • You can repeat it every alternate day. Otherwise, simply use it whenever you feel completely exhausted and need to be freshened up. It will soothe your skin and make it feel relaxed immediately. Moreover, your skin will turn soft, supple and tan-free within a few days.

  • It is better to skip the hung yogurt as your objective is to induce enough moisture to your dull and lifeless skin.
