The 3 Detoxification Baths Your Skin Will Love

1. Clay Detox Bath: Loaded with Bentonite clay and Epsom salts, this bath is unarguable a feast for the skin. While Epsom salts help in relaxing the muscles to allow better absorption of moisture, the clay cleanses the skin and hydrates it.

Ingredients:

  1. Bentonite clay – 1/2 cup
  2. Epsom salts – 1/2 cup
  3. Lavender oil – 10 drops

Instructions: Dissolve the Epsom salts in a warm or hot bath and add the lavender oil. You can use clay in two different ways. Mix the clay vigorously in water until you get a smooth, velvety paste with a plastic spoon. Add the clay paste to the bath and soak for at least 20 minutes.

Add water to clay enough to prepare a thick, smooth paste. Stand in the tub full of water and apply the clay mix all over the body to create a body mask and allow it dry for 5 minutes before sitting down. This provides direct contact with the skin and effectively pulls toxins from the skin. Soak in bath at least 20 minutes. While soaking, use a wash cloth to scrub and remove the remaining clay from the skin.

Dry yourself off after the bath and stay away from the shower for at least 8 hours.
