The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry and Glazed Apple Hand Creams

I am a hoarder of hand creams and yes, I don’t have a choice. I have extremely dry hands and working in an A/C environment doesn’t do any good to it. So I always have a hand cream ready in my handbag. I used to have lotions, but then I found hand creams are better. When I saw TBS limited edition hand creams and that too on a 50% discount, I couldn’t resist shopping. Read on to know how these hand creams fared.

Packaging:

The hand creams comes in a squeezable tube packagaing with a screw-on lid. I wish it had a flip-open cap to make it more convenient. Since these are limited edition hand creams for Christmas, the packaging is colorful for both of them.

My experience:

I first tried the Frosted Cranberry Hand Cream and it has become one of my favorites. It is white in color and has a medium consistency. The cream spreads and gets absorbed quickly without leaving any greasy residue. There is no oiliness or stickness. But it moisturizes my dry hands well and the effects lasts for upto 3-4 hours. The scent is delightful, a fruity scent of cranberries. And it lasts for sometime too after applying.

The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry and Glazed Apple Hand CreamsThe Glazed Apple Hand Cream is similar, except that I didn’t find it as moisturising as the Frosted Cranberry one. I have to reapply within 1-2 hours. The scent is of slightly sour green apples. Not everyone will like this scent. So I would suggest you to try it in store before buying. In this too, the fragrance is quite strong and lasts for sometime.

As much I love these hand creams, I can use them only in my home. As the scents are too strong to be used in office and get annoying looks from my office mates. Am scared to use them in public places like trains or buses too. As immediately when I apply, everyone looks at me. I wish TBS had subtler fragrances.
