BENEFITS AND USES OF HIBISCUS FOR HAIR

Hibiscus is popularly known as ‘gudhal’ and this is the most beneficial ingredient for hair. Hibiscus helps for hair growth, hair loss and hair regrowth. You have to face these problems at least once in your lifetime and there comes a time when you start losing your hair to great extend and what are you searching for? May be a good doctor or a better shampoo.

Shampoo is not good for your hair; it uses artificial treatments which makes your hair look volumised, fluffy and silky but not for a longer period of time. Shampoo is stuffed packed together with many chemical which starts reacting after a particular period of time. So get rid of your hair problems by using hibiscus.

Nothing is new with this word and its uses. You can take few hibiscus together remove the stalks from the centre and blend them in the grinder. Now, you can use this powder to treat your scalp. You get ready-made hibiscus powder in market as well.

Though, there are many herbal hibiscus shampoo and conditioners available in the market, you can also make one for yourself. Follow the guidelines below to make your own hibiscus based shampoo.

Using Hibiscus on its own
Mix enough Hibiscus powder with water or tea and apply to damp clean hair.  Leave it undisturbed for few minutes and latter add 1 tspoon of coconut oil, coconut milk and yogurt and leave it for another 30 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly with Luke warm water.

Hibiscus as a cleanser:

Grind the hibiscus and make a thick paste. Massage your hair with this paste and leave it for 3 minutes. Rinse off with water.

Hibiscus Hair oil:

Take a pan and pour some coconut oil to it, allow it to boil for few minutes. Crush few hibiscus plants and add it to the heating oil and let it boil for few more minutes. If you see the oil becoming a bit reddish in colour, turn off the gas and add some more crushed hibiscus leaves. Stain the oil and use it for daily purpose.

Hibiscus conditioner:

This is a very easy process to prepare hibiscus conditioner at home. All you need is hibiscus flower and water. Take 1-2 cups of water and allow it to boil for few minutes. Crush some hibiscus flower and add it to the boiling water. If you see the water turns red, assume your conditioner is ready to be used. Store this water in a container and use this as an after wash conditioner.
