Hello everyone, today I will reviewing a steam hair straightener cum hair drier from Babyliss which my uncle got for me from Dubai. Babyliss has a range of hair tools and this in one amazing product from that range. Without much ado, let us see if this is a hit or a miss.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This product comes with two attachments- one comb like structure for hair straightening and a hair drier attachment. The tool is entirely made of hard plastic (except for internal parts) including the straightener attachment as well as blow drier attachment so there is no way this will burn and damage the keratin coating of hair and will keep it smooth and straight for longer. Note- This product is supposed to be used on towel dried hair

PACKAGING: The straightener comes in a zip bag with its individual parts placed separately. The steam blower has a steel opening to which the attachments need to be affixed. The blower has three speed settings- one for very hot steam, second for moderate warm steam and third for the cold blow. The tool needs to be plugged in while using.
HOW I USE IT AND AFTER-EFFECTS: I always wanted a straightener that won’t damage my hair and this plastic steam straightener seems perfect for me there are no hot metal plates coming in direct contact with your hair. I recommend using this after hair wash and blow drying hair a bit with the drier attachment prior to using the straightener tool. I part my hair in sections after blow drying and straighten my hair with the straightener tool. You need to comb your hair like usual securing the hair strand with the tightening button and pulling it downwards several times until the entire hair is dried and straightened. You may need to do this 3-4 times per strand. I usually take 20-30 to completely straighten my waist length hair. The blow drier can also be used to straighten hair with a wide paddle hair brush if you know to do it the right way.
The hair does get straight but they look really natural and not pin point straight like those with metal straighteners. This is the best part about this product! Hair will usually remain straight for one entire day but you may need to use hair spray or hair mousse before straightening to extend the duration.
