Bug repellent creams, mists and gels are an easy way to keep bugs and insects from biting you. However, a lot of bug repellent gels and creams contain unwanted and toxic ingredients that aren’t 100% safe on the skin and can also contain alcohol that further cause skin drying. If you are in a lookout for an all-natural bug repellent gel, below is a recipe you should definitely try-
Aloe vera gel- Makes a great gel base, moisturizes skin and leaves behind no sticky residue. Emulsifies well with essential oils (store bought) and has great skin soothing and anti-microbial effects.
Tea tree essential oil and lemongrass essential oil- These essential oils have great bug and insect repellent properties.
