This hack can literally rev up your hair growth like never before and you could even grow your hair upto an inch in one week! But does this actually work? Is it a fact or just a myth?
So let us get into the details about what this wonderful “hair growth” hack is all about!
What exactly is the hair inversion method?
Basically, this method involves your hair or head being “inverted” for a period of time, so that there is an increase blood flow to the scalp making the hair grow out at a faster pace. This is the whole science behind how and why this inversion method works.
Here’s how you do the inversion method:
Step 1: The head massage
Into a small bowl, add in any carrier oil of your choice and warm it up a little. (Warming up the oil can help it get better and quicker absorbed into the scalp and it can also open up the cuticles on the hair shaft and penetrate into the hair strand and work more effectively). Thereafter, you can also add in a few drops of any essential oil to enhance the effects of the oil on your scalp and hair.
Partition your hair an evenly apply this warm oil al over your scalp and hair. Then gently massage it in for 10 minutes, using your fingertips. Make sure to use circular motions during the massage so that it can help stimulate blood circulation in the scalp.
Step 2: The “inversion”
The “inversion” involves having your head upside down and the way you choose to do this is upto you. You can do a hand stand, a head stand, lay on your bed with your head leaning downwards over the side of your bed or you could even sit on a chair and tilt your head downwards with the hair falling over your face.
The method you choose is upto you, as long as your head is “inverted”. This will help stimulate blood flow to the scalp, rejuvenating the hair follicles towards hair growth.
Keep this position for around 4 to 5 minutes, then bring your head back to normal.
Caution: This can cause dizziness in some, so be cautious when attempting this method.
Step 3: Let the oil work on the hair
Once you’ve regained your normal position, leave the oil on your hair for another 15 to 30 minutes to let it get well-absorbed into the scalp and hair.
Step 4: Wash off and condition
Lastly, rinse your hair with plain water, wash off the oil using your regular shampoo and condition thereafter like you normally would.
How often should you do this hair inversion method?
You can do this practice two to three times in one week and then wait for at least three weeks before attempting to do it again. Do not do it too often, as the body will begin to get adapted to this technique and it may not show any good progress or effective results thereafter.
