Whiten teeth with Baking Soda:
Baking soda is the most effective and popular remedy to whiten teeth naturally. Brush your teeth using a mixture of baking soda and water in the morning. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda and add some water in it so that a smooth consistency is achieved. Brush your teeth with this concoction and within 2-3 week of regular usage you will notice difference. This is a natural whitening treatment which actually works effectively.
Whiten teeth with Apple cider Vinegar:
Using apple cider vinegar can also give you pearly white teeth as it removes those stubborn stains. Just take a small amount of ACV on your brush and use it for brushing teeth. After using ACV, brush with regular toothpaste also as it contains acid and can remove teeth enamel. Repeat it to see effective results.
Whiten teeth with Banana Peel:
The high amounts of potassium, magnesium, and manganese in the ripe banana can be applied to the teeth to remove stains and whiten them. Get a banana that is just ripe (it may still have trace amounts of green at each end, but not too much). Take a piece of the inside of the banana peel and gently rub around on your teeth for about 2 minutes. Brush teeth like normal with toothpaste and water to remove the banana paste. The amazing minerals in the peel like potassium, magnesium and manganese absorb into your teeth and whiten them.
Whiten teeth with Turmeric:
Wet your toothbrush and then dip it in 1/8 teaspoon turmeric powder. Brush teeth as normal, allow the turmeric to sit on your teeth for 3-5 minutes and then rinse off. Homemade teeth whitening toothpaste using turmeric.
Whiten teeth with Coconut Oil:
The Ayurvedic method “oil pulling” also claims to whiten teeth naturally and improves oral health. In this method you take one tablespoon of coconut oil into your mouth in the morning. And swish this oil around mouth like you are pulling something. You do this for 15-20 minutes and when your saliva mixes well with the oil, it means you are doing the process in right way. Once your mouth is completely filled with the saliva and oil, you split it out. Oil pulling basically detoxes your body and thus improves oral health. Whiten teeth with Activated Charcoal:
Activated charcoal is a good detoxifying agent thus it is a good teeth whitener too. It changes the pH of the mouth, eliminates bad bacteria, prevents cavities and deodorizes the mouth. It also eliminates stains. While you cannot expect the same results as a professional whitening gel, it does a decent job at adding the sparkle to your set of pearly whites. Just apply activated charcoal on your teeth. Dab the paste on all exposed surfaces of your teeth. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes at least and the split it. Then again brush your teeth using your regular toothpaste. Activated charcoal absorbs tannins and maintains pH level of your mouth.
