#1. Mint and Ginger Green Tea Lemonade : Mint gives you a cooling and refreshing effect in summer and Ginger is used since ages for its excellent healing properties. This combination recipe will serve your purpose for most of the skin related issue too.

How to prepare? Take 2 glass of water to boil. Add 4 bags of green tea, 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint leaves, 1/2 cup chopped fresh Ginger and steam for 30 min. Now strain the solution to a large pitcher. Now add 1/2 cup lemon juice and 2 glass of water to it. Refrigerate until chilled.

#2. Summer Berry Smoothie : Berries like blackberries, blueberries, cranberries, elderberries, raspberries and strawberries are rich in Vitamin C. Intake of these berries hydrates the skin and increases collagen and elastin levels. This recipe is a perfect choice for summer to deal with the hot rays of sun and keep you hydrated.

How to prepare? Blend  1/2 cup of blueberries, raspberries,strawberries and kale. Add one table-spoon of yogurt or milk with 1 table-spoon of honey. Blend it nicely and strain the juice in a container. Refrigerate until chilled.

#3: Coconut water with Mixed fruit: Coconut water the most famous drink during summer, it not only gives you soothing and relaxing feeling but also brings an instant glow to your skin and cure your sun tan as well.

How to prepare? Take 1/2 cup plain coconut water, 2 frozen ripe banana, 1 cup chopped pineapple and mango, 2 cups of spinach or kale, 1/2 avocado sliced. Blend all the ingredients well in a mixer and strain the juice to the container. If the solution is thick add some more coconut water to it. You can also add honey(optional if you want more sweet) and flax-seed(optional). Refrigerate until chilled.

Tips: The recipe mentioned above are very simple but if you’re a very busy person and looking for some quick thing than lemon juice is a perfect choice. Take a glass of cold water squeeze lemon and 1 table-spoon honey to it. This keeps you hydrated and protects the skin from sun damage.
