To make rose oil, you need 4-6 cups of rose petals, 1 cup pure olive or jojoba oil and some water. Keep water on low flame in a deep vessel. Once the water starts simmering, put a bowl in the center with jojoba or olive oil in it (jojoba oil works better). Crush or mash the rose petals using a mortar pestle and add it in jojoba oil. Put a lid on it and let it be in warm water for 1 hour. Now, take the bowl with the lid still on it and place it in the sunny side of a window. Let the rose petals soak in jojoba/olive oil for 1 week. After a week, take out all the rose petals and squeeze it so that every drop of rose oil gets in jojoba/olive oil. Filter the oil using a muslin cloth and fill it in an amber bottle. To make your oil saturated, you can repeat the entire procedure using the prepared oil.
