A secret to keeping your skin clean and clear is to use rice in your skin care routine. Rice makes an excellent skin care product for any skin type whether it is oily, acne prone or dry skin.  You can use it as a cleanser, exfoliator to brighten your skin.

Para aminobenzoic acid serves as a good sunscreen and increases the absorption of Vitamin C in the body. Ferulic acid is an anti-oxidant and allantoin is inflammatory in natures and repairs the skin.

Face cleaner and Mask to brighten skin –

Mix rice flour with honey or milk to make a thick paste, if you don’t have rice flour then grind a handful of uncooked rice into fine powder. Spread the mask on your entire face and leave it on for 5 mins. With wet finger tips gently massage your  skin in circular motion and rinse off. You can also use rice water as a toner to tone and firm the skin.

Lighten Dark circles – 

Rice powder is one of the best ways and a natural remedy to deal under eye bags and dark circles. Make a under eye mask by mixing castor oil and rice flour and apply it under the eyes. The ingredients available in the pack are great for lightening the delicate skin around the eyes.

Rice powder can be a good replacement to your expensive and high-end face powder. Take rice powder and corn starch powder in ratio 2:1. After mixing, apply the dust evenly on your face using a makeup brush to make your makeup stay put for long.
