Skin pigmentation is a very common nowadays. It is basically a condition where dark patches appear on the skin. Production of melanin can cause pigmentation and many other aspects like sun damage, pollution and using chemical products can also cause this skin problem. Skin pigmentation is not life threatening but if not treated well it can worsen and can damage your skin in many different ways. It is a serious skin problem but that doesn’t mean you need to spend loads of money on it. You can also treat skin pigmentation using easily and inexpensive home remedies:
Overnight Pigmentation Treatment:
Mix one tbsp. of turmeric powder with one tbsp. of lemon juice. Using a cotton ball, apply this paste on affected area and let it stay for 20-25 minutes, its better if you can leave it overnight. Next morning, wash off your face with warm plain water. Don’t expose your face to sun immediately after using it directly, use sunscreen.
Coconut milk cleanser:
Fresh coconut milk can do wonders for your skin and it can also reduce pigmentation problem to a great extent. It is magical oil and will reduce pigmentation within a week of regular usage. Take 2-3 drops of coconut milk and massage it on your face for 5-10 minutes so that it penetrates deeply.
Lighten Pigmentation: Potatoes and lemons are natural bleaching agent and that is why they make best remedy to treat skin pigmentation. Take equal amount of both and mix them well. Apply a layer going to bed using cotton pad. When the first layer dries, apply second and then apply third so that there is a thick amount on your skin which can work. Let it stay overnight and in the morning rinse your face with lukewarm water. Within one week of religiously application, you will see reduction in pigmentation.
Pigmentation face mask:
Mix one tbsp. of tomato juice with 2 tablespoons of oatmeal. Also add one tbsp. of yoghurt so that it makes a smooth paste. Apply this paste on pigmented areas and let it stay untouched for 20-25 minutes. Then rinse it off with lukewarm water.
Almonds and milk:
soak 2-3 almonds overnight and in the morning remove its skin. Then make a smooth paste of it with milk. Apply it on pigmented skin or all over your face and let it stay for 20 minutes. Then rinse off with plain water. This is a very quick remedy to reduce skin pigmentation and dark patches from face.
Aloe vera and vitamin E:
Take one vitamin E capsule and take out its oil. Mix the vitamin E oil with 1 tbsp. of aloe vera gel. After mixing, apply this paste on your face like a mask and let it stay for 30 minutes. This mixture will help in reviving the lost glory of your face when used daily.
