Facial hairs are those which are a great block for enhancement of a women’s beauty giving an unfeminine look. Even though these hairs are natural, they cause embarrassment when grown in excessive and highly notified. Facial hairs may be hereditary, imbalance in menstrual cycle, hormonal changes during pregnancy or may due to some improper medications.
The painful temporary methods in removing unwanted facial hairs like threading, plucking, waxing or laser treatment are known to us. These methods may cause skin allergies making your skin look saggy, and in some cases they even make hairs grow at a faster rate. So natural remedies are always safe and cost efficient too.
Turmeric, an all in one Indian spice is best in loosening of facial hairs without any pain. Although the result is not immediate but gradually it aims in the permanent hair reduction therapy.
Exfoliating turmeric face mask :
Procedure: To a clean bowl add 1/2 cup of cold milk, 1/2 cup of gram flour, 2 tablespoons of turmeric powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Stir the mixture well to form a smooth paste. Add turmeric if the mixture is runny.
Apply the turmeric paste to the area of unwanted facial hairs. Rub in circular motions for 5 to 10 minutes and allow the paste to dry. Wash off with warm water.
Turmeric and salt are known to dissolve the hairs helping in thinning them. Repeating the procedure for long days fades the facial hair permanently.
Brightening turmeric face mask :
Procedure: Add half bowl of sugar to one cup of water. Boil the mixture till it forms sticky sugar syrup. Allow the sugar syrup to cool down, now add 2 spoons of lemon extracts and 2 spoons of turmeric to the sugar syrup. Stir all the ingredients and form a thick paste. Apply in the direction of facial hair and allow it to dry. Scrub them in circular motion for 5 minutes and rinse off. Or you can even use a wash cloth and rub in the opposite direction. Repeat the procedure for 2 to 3 times in a week, the result can be seen sooner.
Cleansing turmeric face mask:
Procedure: In a clean bowl add a teaspoon of turmeric, a tablespoon of gram flour and 2 tablespoons of milk to form a thick paste. Apply it in the direction of hair growth and scrub them in the opposite direction. This disturbs the hair growth and makes the hair fall from their roots. The method is again very efficient for heavy facial hairs. You can even use oats instead of gram flour.
The only concern of turmeric is its yellow stains in the skin. That too when you make a regular usage of turmeric then there is no time for the stain to vanish. Use a apple cider vinegar toner or coconut oil on your skin and mildly rub with a cotton ball, this helps in removal of stains.
