8TEA FOR SLEEP –
Chamomile is known as a soothing and relaxing herb. It makes an excellent in the evening or in times of stress because of its mildly sedative and soothing properties.
All you need is 3-4 dried chamomile flowers or use a chamomile tea bag and 1 cup water.
Method: Brew together chamomile flowers with a hot cup of water. Let it steep for 5 minutes after you put off the flame. Add a tsp of honey if you wish ( honey is a natural remedy for sleep). Consume this tea before you are off to bed.
7TEA FOR SORE THROAT –
Lemon and honey are a great combination, they taste wonderful and the lemon juice is full of vitamin C. Honey has antimicrobial properties and is effective in soothing a sore throat.
All you need is
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon
- 1 cup water
- dash of cinnamon
Method: Bring 8oz of water to a boil, pour into a cup. Add honey, lemon and dash of cinnamon. Sip slowly and throughout the day as often as you need to. Amazing remedies using honey water.
6TEA FOR SINUS INFECTION –
Teas are very helpful in providing relief in chest congestion.
You need 2 cups hot water, 1-2 inch ginger sliced, 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 teaspoon turmeric.
Combine in a glass. Let stand for a few minutes, then sip.Sip slowly and re-warm as needed to get the full effects of the fumes. Let it sit in the back of your throat to bathe it. Suck the fumes through your sinuses and also down into your lungs. It’s all natural and healthy, so drink as much of it as you want or need until you are SURE the infection is gone.
5TEA FOR HEADACHE –
You need 2 cups water, 1-inch piece ginger, peeled and sliced into rounds and 1-2 slices lemon (optional).
Method: Combine water, ginger, and lemon slices in small saucepan; bring to boil over high heat. Once mixture has come to boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Pour tea into mug, discarding lemon and ginger. Add sweetener if desired.
4TEA FOR COLD –
Garlic is naturally anti-bacterial and antiviral. It fights the germs that cause the common cold while providing your body with anti-oxidants it needs to function properly.
All you need is 3 cups of water, 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 3 cloves of garlic sliced and 1 tbsp raw honey (can add more or less to achieve desired sweetness).
Method: In a large saucepan, bring 3 cups of water and 3 cloves of garlic to a boil. Turn off the heat when the water boils, and add 1 tbsp cup of honey and 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice. Strain and sip.
3TEA FOR BLOATING –
Peppermint tea is not only full of flavor, but it is also full of the compounds that help tackle abdominal bloating.
All you need is 1 tsp peppermint leaves, 1 tsp of fennel seeds, honey (as per taste), few drops lemon and 1 cup water.
Method: Steep peppermint leaves in hot water for 15 minutes along with fennel seeds and strain. Add in few drops of lemon juice and sweetener as per your choice.
2TEA FOR CLEAR SKIN –
Green tea is widely regarded as one of the best all-around superfoods, packed with antioxidants. Topical use of green tea reduces sebum production, gets rid of oiliness and protects against acne-causing bacteria
You may need 1 green tea bag and 1 cup boiling water.

1TEA FOR ANXIETY –
You will need 1 tablespoon dried basil, honey (as per taste) and 1 cup water.
Method: To make basil tea, use 1 tbsp. of dried basil and pour 1 cup of boiling water over it per serving. Tea from fresh basil calls for twice as much of the herb. Steep the tea for 30 minutes. More: Pick a perfect tea for every mood.
