Tomatoes and Coriander Leave Face Mask: Take one fresh tomato and green coriander leaves. Wash both of them completely. Now, blend them in a blender to make a paste using rose water. You can also add one tbsp of lemon juice but it’s optional. Apply this face pack all over your face and neck. Keep it for 20 minutes and then rinse off with cold water. Green tea and Rice flour Mask: Take one green tea bag and dip in into hot water for 10 minutes. When the water cools down, throw away the tea bag and separate the green tea water in a bowl. Now add 2 tbsp of rice flour in the tea water and mix it well. Now add 1 tbsp of honey in the mixture. Apply this mask on your face for 10 minutes. Now, rinse off by scrubbing your face in circular motion. The anti-bacterial properties of green tea help in preventing acne and also reduce acne scars. Rice flour also has lightening properties which lightens marks and blemishes from face.
Baking Soda Mask: Take one tbsp of baking soda and mix it with rose water. Control the quantity of rose water so that the paste is neither too thick nor too thin. Now apply baking soda mask all over your face and wash off after 15 minutes. Baking soda is highly alkaline substance and it removes dead skin cells. Nutmeg and Honey Mask: Take 1 nutmeg and grind it to make powder. Now, mix 1 tbsp of honey and 1 tbsp of cinnamon in the nutmeg powder. Mix them all and you will get a chocolatey-colored paste (No, don’t eat it). Apply it all over your face and keep for 15 minutes before rinsing with plain water. Nutmeg is a natural exfoliator and it reduces acne scars when used religiously. Honey keeps your skin hydrated.
Vitamin E: You can get vitamin E tablets easily in any chemist shop. Due to antioxidant properties, applying vitamin E on acne and acne scars can lighten them speedily. Just take one vitamin E tablet and open it. Now, apply the oil on your face and leave it over-night. In the morning you can wash off your face with plain water. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen as vitamin E makes your skin photo-sensitive.
