Lemon:

Lemon is a natural bleaching agent and it effectively removes yellow stains from nails when used regularly. Lemon is also used in manicure and pedicure in parlors because of the amazing whitening effect it gives to nails. Take two lemons and squeeze the juice in a bowl. Now fill the bowl with warm water and soak your nails into this mixture for around 20-25 minutes. Repeat it daily for at least one week to see effective results.

Tea tree oil:

IF your nails are turning yellow due to some fungal infection then try using tea tree oil because it’s the best anti-bacterial remedy. To get rid of yellow nails just take equal amount of tea tree oil and olive oil in a spoon. Mix both well and then apply it on your nails. Wear gloves and let it stay overnight. Repeating it every night for at least one week will make your nails whiter than before. Your nails will be back to good health.

Vitamin E:

Vitamin is also very good in treating yellow stained nails. Just apply vitamin E directly on nails and massage for 5 minutes. Let it stay overnight and rinse off in the morning. Repeat it daily for effective and better results. It will not only make your nails white but will also make them strong and healthy.

Baking Soda:

Baking soda works as an excellent cleanser for nails and it also helps in nail-whitening. Just mix baking soda with lemon juice and scrub your nails using this mixture. Scrub for 1-2 minute and it will scrub off the yellow stains from your nails. Allow it to stay for another 5 minutes and then rinse it off. Repeat it 2-3 times a week for better results.

White Vinegar:

Vinegar is also acidic like lemon juice so it is also very useful in nail whitening. Take few drops of white vinegar in cotton and then rub it on your nails. Let it stay for 25 minutes or for as long as you want and then rinse it off. Always apply moisturizer after using white vinegar because it makes skin dry.

Salt:

Salt softens cuticles and skin and strengthens nails. It reduces yellowing and stains for brighter, healthier-looking nails.

Try it: Mix one teaspoon salt, one teaspoon lemon juice, and a half-cup warm water in a small bowl. Soak nails in the solution for 10 minutes, then scrub with a soft brush. Rinse hands, and moisturize.
