VITAMIN E PRODUCTS

Vitamin E is one of the most well-known antioxidants. It protects the skin from environmental stress and free radicals in the surroundings that keep you from forming wrinkles early.  Vitamin E works as a great antioxidant in a powerful synergy with vitamin C. Lookout for products that contain both vitamin E and vitamin C for added skin benefits.

GREEN TEA TONER

Green tea too is one of the well-known sources for antioxidants and is a potent antioxidant when applied topically. However, not many products containing green tea are available in the market (you may find some great green tea containing products from Innisfree). The compound called as EGCG in green tea provides its antioxidant kick. You may use green tea containing products or simply use freshly brewed green tea as a toner.

RETINOL

Retinol or simply vitamin A is an excellent antioxidant which is effective not only in preventing wrinkles and sagging skin but also is effective against acne. Retinol when used in excess can cause severe dry skin so use it only once before bedtime. It causes cell turn over and works at a genetic level to prevent wrinkles and acne. Lookout for serums that contain retinol or simply use retinol cream at night with doctor’s consent. More on retinol>>
